Werribee is located 30 km south-west of the CBD situated on the Werribee River approximately halfway between Melbourne and Geelong on the Princes Highway. Werribee is the second-largest suburb in Wyndham. It is one of the oldest most established areas of Wyndham first settled over 150 years ago. Significant growth in Werribee occurred in 1960 and continues today. Werribee features Eagle Stadium Werribee Park Precinct Chirnside Park and Spendthrift Australia Park home of the Internationals during the Melbourne Cup Carnival. For transport Werribee railway station is located on the Werribee line and the Warrnambool line.
